Setting Up Ubie Webmail on IOS, Android & Outlook

If you are looking to use your Ubie Webmail account on your IOS, Android or Outlook device, these are the instructions and settings you will need for your setup.

IOS Setup (iPhone, iPad)

  1. Go to the ‘Settings’ App
  2. Click onto ‘Accounts & Passwords’
  3. Click onto ‘Add Account’
  4. Click onto the ‘Other’ tab (at the bottom)
  5. Click onto ‘Add Mail Account’
  6. On the ‘Name’ field, enter anything you would like. This is the name that receivers will see when you send an email.
  7. On the ‘Email’ field, enter your Ubie email address you would like to set -up on your device.
  8. On the ‘Password’ field enter your Ubie Webmail password for this email address.
  9. Click onto the ‘Next’ button, please be aware this can take a few minutes to load.
  10. Under the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ heading and on the ‘Host Name’ field, please enter imap.[yourdomaingoeshere.co.uk] (enter your domain without the brackets) so, for example, our email server would be imap.ubie.co.uk.
  11. Under the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ heading and on the ‘Username’ field, please enter your email address again – as we did earlier. On the ‘Password’ field, this should already be completed for you but if not enter your password again.
  12. Under the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ heading and on the ‘Hostname’ field, please enter smtp.[yourdomaingoeshere.co.uk] (enter your domain without the brackets) so, for example, our email server would be smtp.ubie.co.uk.
  13. Under the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ heading and on the ‘Username’ field, please enter your email address again – as we did earlier.
  14. Under the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ heading and on the ‘Password’ field, please enter your password – as we did earlier.
  15. Click onto the ‘Next’ button
  16. You might now get an error which states ‘Cannot Verify Server Identity’ if you get this error, please press ‘Continue’. This is nothing to be concerned about, but it is very important you press ‘Continue’ otherwise the setup will not work.
  17. Your screen should now be loading and stating the account is ‘Verifying’ with a loading icon. Please be aware this can take 10 minutes or more. The video will show an example of how long the verifying stage can take. If you get any other Server error popups, do not be concerned and just press ‘Continue’.
  18. After the account has verified a page with the heading ‘Account added’ should pop-up and please ensure the ‘Mail’ toggle is green and enabled and then press ‘Save.’
  19. The setup is now complete, and you can now access the ‘Mail’ app.
